There were a number of species that were new for the 10km square & these are highlighted. The most significant of these is #2269, although it is not rare in an overall Glamorgan context. Mike Powell 17/9/2002(Rally to be held mid July 2003 for a major moth recording night) | |||||||
The survey was undertaken two days after torrential rains. As a result many of the moths were newly hatched. Dave Gilmore expressed surprise that there were not more autumnal species. He also said that the Rosy Footman had never been recorded in Glamorgan so late in year as the specimen found on Sep 11.Steve White 17/9/2002 | |||||||
