THE QUEEN’S 60th DIAMOND JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS
The Joint Village Committee organised two brilliant celebrations: the Jubilee Cabaret Evening on June 2nd and the Village Jubilee Party on June 3rd.
The Cabaret Evening was a full scale dinner with singer Maria Lyn providing the entertainment, while the Village Party was a great mixture of
events with the Royal Pageant itself being shown on a big screen. Both events took place in the Village Hall due to the usual British weather. Some of
